This is the 'Free-Assembly HomePage', a unique Web forum and public interest research library.

You will find resources and archives on the ongoing efforts of many to preserve essential rights of association, expression, prayer, & stewardship on public and native lands... and the work of our volunteers as well.

We have supported political speech and demonstrations in various locales, but there is a special focus here on the "Rainbow Gatherings" -- as a pure exercise of voluntary assembly under the First Amendment, a distinctive public forum, and a pivotal controversy of policy and law.

We have done leading-edge research and advocacy -- and documented official abuses to support legal cases when necessary -- in order to protect the right of Peaceable Assembly, as required for a legitimate democracy to function.
