co'06 Appeal: U.S. v. Hansen
Up one levelChristopher W. Hansen, Appellant pro se; Appeal #06-cr:00265-wdm, U.S. District Court of Colorado, 10th Circuit__/ Hansen was asleep in his tent late at night when he was wakened loudly by 6 LEO's, taken to the road, treatened and berated, then issued a 'Group Use' citation. At trial on 30jn06 he argued against the crime and for his rights, and was convicted anyway. But it turned out that the court's recording equipment stopped working on that day and the next 3 days of proceedings -- so this Appeal goes to the lack of a trial record and other due process breaches as grounds to reverse the conviction.
