Lawsuit to Open the Court, filed 6/27/06... two plaintiffs, an attorney & defendant represented by Denver Attorney David Lane, sued the USFS LEO's, U.S. Marshals, and the Magistrate, with a Motion for Temporary Restraining Order to open the doors of the Hahn's Peak courtroom. Access had been denied to defendants, reporters, observers, and even lawyers -- in violation of the 6th Amendment right to public trial.

This fast denial was purely procedural... the initial Complaint & Motion had been filed without the requisite affidavits from plaintiffs, and this had to be corrected by re-filing.
